Thomas G. Leahy
Thomas G. Leahy was born in Manchester, New Hampshire. He is a 1971 graduate of the School of Liberal Arts at Boston University (cum laude) and a 1974 graduate of the University of Maine School of Law. He was admitted to practice in Maine and the U.S. District Court, District of Maine in 1974. He served as a member of the Maine Guarantee Authority, the predecessor to the Finance Authority of Maine, from 1977 to 1983. He is currently a member of the Cumberland and Maine State Bar Associations. He is a former President of the Cumberland Bar Association. Mr. Leahy’s practice is primarily in the commercial and banking areas. His twenty-five years of experience has grown from title work for a local savings and loan association, to a substantial workout, commercial and banking practice. He has spoken at several state-wide seminars on banking issues. His practice also includes municipal and real estate law.  |
 On May 6, 2008, the Law Court upheld the Superior Court’s September 13, 2007 decision in Bean v. State Farm.
