Thomas G. Leahy
Thomas G. Leahy was born in Manchester, New Hampshire. He is a 1971 graduate of the School of Liberal Arts at Boston University (cum laude) and a 1974 graduate of the University of Maine School of Law. He was admitted to practice in Maine and the U.S. District Court, District of Maine in 1974. He served as a member of the Maine Guarantee Authority, the predecessor to the Finance Authority of Maine, from 1977 to 1983.
He is currently a member of the Cumberland and Maine State Bar Associations. He is a former President of the Cumberland Bar Association.
Mr. Leahy’s practice is primarily in the commercial and banking areas. His twenty-five years of experience has grown from title work for a local savings and loan association, to a substantial workout, commercial and banking practice. He has spoken at several state-wide seminars on banking issues. His practice also includes municipal and real estate law.

 On May 6, 2008, the Law Court upheld the Superior Court’s September 13, 2007 decision in Bean v. State Farm.
